With each new day on my journey working as a data engineer, I am more certain that part of my prominent role is to enable the integration of areas, departments, boards, and teams through data in order to provide delivery of real and lasting value, not only to solve a pre-established demand but promoting and accelerating digital transformation and inclusion.

One of the points I read daily is the creation of data flow, where I have increasingly observed the term “Zero ETL” and how this concept has influenced the delivery and access of data as a product in different companies and startups.

This post will briefly summarize the concept, its benefits, and some use cases with emerging technologies that already have large communities and many people using them, but first, we have to understand the concept of ETL.
