A company in the logistics sector with its operation mainly in Southeast Asia having clients like Amazon, Shopee, Lazada, Lineman, GradExpress, Zilingo, Tokopedia and being, after comparing Vitess, CockroachDB (CRDB), and TiDB, chose TiDB for its scalability from the Kubernetes node (K8s) to evolve your MySQL cluster environment.

They had about 70 virtual machines (VM’s) with more than 100 schemas that had tables that could reach 3.6 Terabytes (TB), besides having to use the Galera plugin, to guarantee high availability (HA) and ProxySQL, an open-source project that is a SQL compliant layer.
